The night started as it normally does a few friends, fellow Dubco’ers if you will, gathered at the top secret Brooklyn lair. As we prepared for the night we began by dancing around a bottled brew of liberating elixir. From there we turned up the bass giving our ears a good stretch, and continued to dance and mouth out our favorite robot sounds. Once we were sufficiently inebriated we began craving the bewitched bass of the all mighty Boys Noize, so we hopped on our local steel caterpillar and made our way to Webster’s Hall.

Upon arrival we were greeted by the pulsating melodies of Housemeister. Now if you haven’t heard of this Housemeister fellow let this be a warning, approach with caution. With nearly 16 years of DJ’ing experience this man is a veteran raver. As a part of Boys Noize Records he released “Enlarge Your Dose” in 2008, but has since released “Who is that Noize?” on his own label AllYouCanBeat. Straight out of Berlin this guy has an eclectic set list of jams that may make you convulse in ecstasy. To get a better idea of what your in for Housemeister personally describes his sound as “Techno-Electro-Jack-Acid-Punk-Dance-Mania”. (I really could not have put it any better).

Now back to the animalistic convergence of bass heads you may refer to as a Boys Noize concert. As I was saying it began with Housemeister but honestly he didn’t even make up a quarter of the night that we were in for. The Boy himself came out around 1 a.m., and as to be expected from the first track we were bumpin’. I could tell it was gonna be a special night. Now I was not always a Boys Noize fan and this was not the first time I had seen him live, but as of now if he started a religion I would not only convert, but sacrifice my first son, and then devote my ears to his church. It was absolutely insane! And what made it so great was that the show never ended! For almost 3 hours us Dubco’ers were subject to an array of bass that could kill a small infant. It was only after 4 a.m. that Mr. Noize finally relinquished our eardrums from the persistent pulsating potion he had just previously been concocting. By the end we were so bruised and battered that we attempted to hail a cab for our 2 block trip back to our metal caterpillar. However sore each us were we unanimously agree that pain is pleasure and pleasure is also know as Boys Noize. But don’t take it from me or anyother of our incredibly reliable Dubco sources, witness the magic your self at any of his upcoming Tour Dates.
